My name is Paul Barnhurst (AKA The FP&A Guy), and I am excited that you have come to my website to learn more about Financial Planning & Analysis.
I am a Finance Professional with 12+ years of finance and FP&A experience. I Earned a bachelor's from BYU, an MBA specializing in finance, and a Master of Information Management from Arizona State University. I have worked in several industries, including the US government, travel services, finance, automotive, Cyber Security, Ecommerce, and more. Possess a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, financial modeling, report building, and business partnering.
Recently launched my own business called The FP&A Guy providing FP&A consulting services for small and midsized companies, FP&A Training, and FP&A content creation (Webinars, blogs, sponsored LinkedIn Posts)
I reside in the Salt Lake City, Utah area with my wife and daughter. I love running, hiking, and the outdoors and am very active on LinkedIn, regularly publishing thought leadership in the FP&A space. On LinkedIn, I go by the moniker The FP&A Guy.
